Hi, I’m Meghan.
An artist + creative living in the Pacific Northwest.
I am a silversmith, creating functional & bespoke jewelry inspired by nature.
For several years I lived on the road with my fiance and two dogs, pursuing full-time travel, adventure, and creation in the outdoors. We bought a camper & truck at the beginning of 2022, sold all our belongings, and began a two year journey of exploring the natural landscapes of the western United States.
Since then, we have moved back to the PNW for me to pursue nursing school. Travel and silversmithing continue to be large parts of my life, but my attention has temporarily shifted to eventually provide my creative practice more flexibility and freedom.
The Traveling Silversmith began as a way to share our travels while stepping away from the incessant demand of social media. The goal was to write what was on my mind, sharing stories of our travels, and letting myself be & share authentically in the moment; a practice of embracing imperfection.
The essence of The Traveling Silversmith remains, with a little less of the travel and a little more of the art. The release of these letters are spontaneous, flowing with my creative energy and time.
